Verifying an email address as part of an application is an added layer of protection to fight fraud.

This task verifies an email address through Seon. Upon computing of the risk score by Seon, Ondorse will return one of the following three outputs:

• Not risky: the task result will be Clear
• Mildly risky: the task result will be Consider
• Very risky: the task result will be Alert

The rules around the scoring of an email can be configured in Seon and the Ondorse task result can be adjusted to specific thresholds.
